Scientific technology without wise implementation

Mere discoveries and inventions, in the field of Scientific Technology,
                                                             cannot ensure its implementation of technology in all parts of the world.
                                                       
                                                                   

                                                                  Scientific research may be carried in any part of the world but
 its fruits cannot be eaten by all the people of the world safely.
                                                                         
                                                                                      

As man has got enticed to the comforts and thrills of technology,
 life without it is almost impossible. In an age of globalization, it
would not be wise to remain aloof. Being a part of this world, one
cannot deny the developments taking place at a rapid speed.
                                                           
                                                                            In the world of globalization, one has to keep pace with
                                                                            changing needs and demands. As such, countries need to                                                                             upgrade themselves. Without a fast means of                                                                                                 transportation, one cannot save time which the most                                                                                     valuable of all.







 Putting in place, a new infrastructure through re-structuring, is not enough. What needs to be done, is re-defining the culture and attitude, is the primary requirement.

    Only then, can the fruits of technology
be eaten by the people of a nation.
                                                                                


When the government and its people fail to create
a right environment for the invading technology,

                                        


adverse effects of technology becomes inevitable, which may result in accidents.  When technology takes its roots in a place where people are not much bothered about the safety aspects, it would claim the lives of many.

  of money towards the maintenance of the out-dated

                                                                         

technology. Not only, is its fuel consumption high
but also the time taken to carry the passengers or
goods, especially to a long distance, is also very
long.


                                                                         But, things must take a new shape because without                                                                                        technology, a nation would become fish out of water.
                                                                         The world is too busy to waste a moment.

The extra-ordinary speed of the functioning is

A step forward towards internal security and peace.

            The Supreme court of India asks the Central Government to have a re-look at the provisions of the juvenille 

law that prescribes 18 years as the age of adulthood to try persons accused of heinous crime. What deserves 
more attention in this regard, is the question of awareness and the minimum required  degree of  maturity one 

attains at the age of 18. Is this age not enough for an individual who is not deprived of his sanity, to 

discriminate civility and barbarity ?  If the answer is positive, it should be accepted that mere trying the 

juvenile or acquitting him of the guilt, is not the only solution. The evil forces playing a havoc on the 

vulnerable juveniles, cannot be overlooked. These evil forces perhaps comprise the significant factors. 

Firstly, the parents who wash off their hands after having given birth to the child. It is just like saying, My job 

is only to give birth to the progeny. Nature would take care of bringing him up or nourishing him into an adult. 

What makes matters worse, is that most teachers feel a sense of pride that they have given an unparalleled 

contribution in delivering the concepts. But, their teaching is hardly mulled with any morals. Again, it should 

be taken care of the fact that mere teaching may not mould the pupils. If the teacher fails to inspire the pupil, 

his teaching can be considered ineffective. It is the centre of learning, not the prison, where there is a lot of 

scope for moulding the child or to instill civility. Civility is a cultivation of tender treatment but not force. It is 

the parents and teachers who have the lion's share in bringing forth civilized people into the society. Again, it 

is the parents and the teachers who can, with their carelessness, unleash trained students, who have little to 

do with morality. If these trainers, parents and teachers, do the extra-mile journey and instill the essence of 

morality, the child might flinch in committing not only a heinous but also hesitate to commit even a small 

crime. Hence, rhe root cause of the juvenile crime has to be observed. Then, it would not be the degree of 

awareness that would draw our attention but the carelessness that has crept in bringing up of the child. If the 

parents and teachers introspect, they can realize their duty. This would an end to this debatable problem.

                                       A good teacher is not the person who teaches but inspires.
   

iS THE FISSILE MATERIAL THE ONLY OPTION ?

                                                                      It is easy to reach the available or that which gives                                                                        us benefits in abundance with little efforts. At a                                                                            time when many nations have been shutting down                                                                        he doors of the nuclear world, it would not be
judicious to venture into the radio-active zone.

                                                                                         










It is suggestible that                                                                        nations opted safer sources of harnessing the                                                                                energy that drives the turbine. Wind energy and                                                                            solar energy are found to be more feasible and                                                                             relevant too, in the hot latitudes  or in the tropical                                                                         countries.
                                                                           


                    If  solar energy cannot be harnessed                                                                                           tropical countries, where else can it be done                                                                                 better ?  ? Of course not in the cold latitudes ? At                                                                             least solar option finds relevance in the tropical                                                                             latitudes.










Some developed nations have exploited                                                                           the nuclear energy as like a man who has drunk                                                                           wine to the lees. The nuclear tragedy of Fukushima,Japan, is a recent tragic gift to man's stubborn
nature. Man is an adult but he feels happy while he takes risk like a child.                                                                                                                                             


The Chernobyl remains evergreen reminder that  
 man's feats are powerless when nature assumes                                                                           the form of a beast. All our efforts and                                                                                       preventive measures get crumbled, leaving us                                                                               crest-fallen. To err is human, to forgive is divine.                                                                         But togo ahead with trial and error method, in the
case of nature., would be an unpardonable mistake. 
To open the gates of the fissile world, would be like
 bungling with the radio-actuve metal.

NATURE VERSUS HUMAN FEATS

This planet of ours has witnessed the gait of countless men, men who had agreed to
die but not kiss the palms of defeat. Scholars had experienced moments and had
given immortality to their observations. Many of these have been heaped with laurels.
The point to be driven home is ' One need not boast of the skills or the knowledge
one has accumulated during  the journey of life. He who has developed his skills,
needs to realise that he has done it for his survival and identity. Again, what is identity ?
It finds its roots in people,s appreciation. This is fickle. None should venture to own the
knowledge alone. Knowledge is open to all. It is untamed unbound unbridled.It is no one's
property. it has existed even before man originated. This Earth of ours has witnessed
many who got assimilated into the soil. The actors have died but the stage has remained.It seems to be beckoning those who are thirsty to pourforth their childish enthusiasm.
       Knowledge does not prey on man.but it is man who preys on knowledge to
give meaning to his existence. Knowledge emerges from the root word 'know'. It is nothing but the fact about our surroundings which we conceive through our observations. The thing, abstract or concrete, has more or less existed for centuries, or since the evolution of the universe. If our surroundings are considered a part of existence, knowledge follows it. Awareness can substitute knowledge. The basic point to be driven home here, is that man needs to be humble and modest. Human life is quite temporary.
       One needs to check oneself, consistently and regularly, so that the evils of arrogance and false pride do not intrude him. A coxcomb can never be a friend of anyone. He remains not only harmful to himself but also to others. The human world is more important when compared to the life of a coxcomb. As such, we all shoulder the responsibility of protecting and preserving the beautiful planet of ours. Lord Almighty has created the world of ours but it is we who should save this world from any disaster that may be imminent. Let mankind, not become a victim in the hands of the few powerful lunatics.

SNAIL'S PACE

Very little has been achieved in the direction of leashing global warming. Despite serious discussions and seminars conducted at international level on the issue of global warming, very little has been achieved in retarding this problem. The speed with which efforts are put in, is at a snail's pace. On the other hand, carbon emission levels are beyond the capacity of the ecology, to assimilate it. The toxic wastes and several other disposed things that have addressed the needs of the consumer, are discarded into the ecology without responsibility. Some of these highly dangerous wastes are released by the chemical factories, leather tanning  industries, hospitals etc. The electronic and nuclear wastes disposed into nature, which lack proper waste management techniques, make matters worse. These stimulators of unbridled global temperatures, not only act as capacitor but also long-lasting. The Action Plan for curbing down global warming in a staunch manner is not in place but the relentless carbon-emissions is telling upon the atmosphere.
    There is an urgent need to realize that the more we pump the toxic waste and carbon into atmosphere, the more we strangle ourselves. We are not only leading a life of luxor and greed but also preparing gallows for the human existence.

MODERNIZING CYCLES

Through scientific research bicycle can be modernized to fulfil the modern needs. By modifying the mechanism and by re-structuring, the speed can be raised. Also, the difficulty in riding it during upward journey can also be lessened. This research is the need of the time. Instead of taking up research and wasting  the precious time in exploring the less important needs, it is necessary to focus such areas of research which can save our planet. Riding on a cycle, does  not mean that an individual degrades himself. It is the character of a person that decides his status. Most people need to come out of such false prestige. One needs to live with awareness and common sense. If people, both middle and rich, come out of their  parameters drawn by illusion and prejudice, a lot of  good can be done to the society,

THE GIFT OF CYCLE

It's high time people understood the gifts of riding on a bicycle. This does not mean people should stop cars and bikes at once. They should use vehicles only it is highly necessary, or when they cannot do without it. The gifts of cycle are many - wonderful physical exercise that keeps the body physically and mentally fit, no consumption of fossil fuel or electricity, zero emission of smoke, occupying the least space on the roads and low cost maintainance. Does it not appear like the caption, ' kachua jalao machar bhagao' ? Similarly, we can say,' cycle chalao carbon bhagao.' The cycle is the best 'Tit for tat' for global warming.Why to waste the
energy 'cycling in the gym'.Instead, it is better to cycle to destination. It would become a two-pronged approach because one can build his body and keep himself physically fit. At the same time the energy spent will not be vain because it would you to the destination. The only thing one needs to do before going ahead with the business of cycling, is to give up false prestige. It is time we understood that it is not car or bike that
is symbol of status.This was,perhaps, the narrow-mindedness and illusion of our immediate predecessors cars stood as symbol of prestige. It is the great qualities and deeds of a person that embody the status of a person. 

WATCHING CINEMA SHOULD NOT BE A WASTE OF TIME

When can it be discerned that every second we spend is more precious than money. Each second needs to be spent judiciously and intellectually. Most people hold money and materialistic pleasures in high esteem. Having been blinded by the lust of pleasure that comes from riches, they do not awaken themselves towards the more important activities that form the essence of life.
                      The point to be driven home in this regard is that the citizens of a nation should train their mind  towards perspectives that dominate the absurd matter or futility. Much time has been wasted in watching programmes on television or the big screen. It dejects that most serials, movies or television shows are based on programmes which are absurd or fuss, but have beautifully managed in making spectators of all age groups addicts. Absurd themes have a lion's share in all the programmes put together. These themes come easily into the minds of the writers and directors. It is easy to create ugly or futile things adored with filthy dialogue-delivery that stinks a lot.
                       It is time the writers realized that cinema being one of the chief sources of not only entertaining people but also educating them. As such cinema is not a white page meant for the kid of kindergarten, to draw meaningless lines with crayons. A cinema can become a divine and intellectual source of civilizing the public. Many a case it becomes a guide  to lead the public. But, unfortunately, cinema has proved its best as a perpetrator of crime. It has managed too, in filling the vulnerable minds with filthy and foul vocabulary. 

CINEMA : A SOURCE OF VOCABULARY

These days, cinema has left no stone unturned in misleading the public with its pornographic vocabulary. What is more deplorable, is that the authorities concerned, give a deaf ear to such major evils. The vocabulary, alone, can do wonders by strengthening eve-teasing, snaring teenaged girls and in shaking the pillars of peace of the society. These things may appear silly to some but these sow the seeds for tomorrow's social evils whose roots would penetrate too deep for us to weed out. Such vocabulary also becomes a tool in the hands of those who symbolize barbarity, It is easy to destroy than to collapse civility, which is the respiratory system of the society.

DETERIORATING FILM INDUSTRY

Much time has been wasted watching absurdity camouflaged in the form of a movie. Here, one needs to focus that one has not been watching a movie, in most cases, but absurdity.

       Today, we live in an age of science and technology that teems with a number of miseries and crises unaddressed. Movies can be made a wonderful source of educating the youth. Movies should not merely be an alloy of entertainment but a powerful tool to motivate the people, and henceforth, guide them. Thus, the citizens would not only get educated but also help the government lubricate the wheel of prosperity.

        For a long time, the writers have been doing a spoiling business. Today the matter have become worse with more and more unwisely producers embarking on the business of making movies based on futility. To them, movie is not a motivating device but only a source of making easy money. Still the condition of most nations across the globe remains crude where there are no restrictions to impede the producers of absurd movies. Nations have a film board of film certification whose duty is check elements like obscenity, foul language or those which pose a threat to the national security or sentiment. Sometimes, the body checks whether any malice creeps in, which might throw slush upon the cultural sensibilities.

          Unfortunately, we come across many elements in movies which, at least, aggravates the existing social evils. Movies have played a vital and significant role in accelerating the growth of social evils. The degrading moral values will always be indebted to the movies that have been a breeder of malicious content.

          It is truly said that it is easy to destroy rather than to build. Most movies have been a source of misleading the tender youth who are vulnerable to evil ideas. Most modern movies have succeeded in converting the innocent public into perpetrators of violence.

          The role and responsibility of the inspecting authorities of the film board ought to be enlarged so that rotten ideas are checked. The officials concerned, should meticulously go through the contents of the movie. Only then, the movie should get the approval to be screened at the theatres. The officials should not get satisfied with the movie that is deprived of any impermissible content alone. In fact, the measuring tool for examining the contents of the movie should not be conventional. It should be a creative and intellectual device that should probe the depth of the content, to foresee whether the consequences of watching the movie would be a misleading one, with cultural point of view. It should not be approved even if it is deprived of any  malice. It should play a key role in enhancing the national prosperity. Romance alone should not form the crux of the movie. A movie should assimilate the re-motivating device so that it helps in creating a better world to live in.

CINEMA : NOT A QUANTITY BUT A QUALITY

It does not matter how many movies a film industry produces. What's important is what the movie contains. Today's world  a large number of movies which are nothing but a time-pass business or talking for talking sake. The themes of romance, political filth, or other areas of crime-world are those which dominate the cinema world. Here and there, little do we witness the themes pertaining to scientific technology and science fiction.
     We need to rethink that the precious three hours approximately, are not to be considered a source of meaningless entertainment. It is true that an individual gets influenced with things he gets from his friends, members of family or from the environment he comes into contact with. The kind of learning experience a person undergoes is directly proportional to the kind of environment the person is exposed to. Similarly, a movie too, leaves a spectator experienced with the kind of thing he/she has undergone during the duration of the movie. Most movies are produced merely to generate income.
      It's high time, the writers, directors and producers exercised their brain and produced movies filled with a good stuff. 

A GRAIN OF LIFE

Would it be wrong to call a grain of rice, a grain of life ?  A handful of grains of rice, can question the last heart-beat of the person who is about to starve to death. It would be unpardonable sin to dispose a grain of rice or a morsel of bread.  Everyone among us, must think twice before a grain of food or a morsel of bread or roti, is thrown away. Food cannot be wasted with a lame cause that owner has plenty of riches. One should see that food comes to the hands of the eater after a great deal of labour and consumption of time.Seasons together join hands in ripening the grain to the level of harvest.

The sinner has to compensate every morsel and grain of food that he wastes.

IS WASTING FOOD, A SYMBOL OF STATUS ?

Wasting food on occasions like wedding, birthday, informal parties or other formal occasions, is undoubtedly,an act of foolishness and barbarity. Status doesn't lie in the act of leaving remnants or huge amounts of food in the plate being disposed. Status lies in the great qualities of a person like generosity, simplicity, honesty, modesty, the power of a person to inspire the people around, with the great deeds and words.

                            Instead of wasting food, the invitee should estimate about how much he would like to eat. If one really has the urge to show his status, one should do the extra mile journey and feed the destitutes who are deprived of the basic needs.Civility lies in stopping the wastage of food, not in disposing the plate with food in it.
                     
                       One needs to understand that a large part of the population confines its life to merely making bread and butter. 

FEED THE STARVING

Is it not divine to feed the unfed ? The wisdom of a person lies not in disposing the plate with food in it. One needs to come out of the false prestige that eating the food completely at a formal or informal occasion would diminish one's status. The greatness of a person lies in the good qualities but not in being gaudy. To reach modesty would be difficult as we are placed in a modern context that gives little scope for it, but once attained, it would take the person to the summit of satisfaction. Wasting food has been prevalent for a long time but it has leaped to new heights.It is time we saved food resources. Most of us do not take the pains doing the extra mile journey. so that food might reach the mouths of millions starving.    

LORD VIGHNESWARA, THE DEITY OF THE MILLIONS

Indians who have immense faith and belief in Lord Ganesha, celebrate the festival of this god in several states across the Indian subcontinent. Also the festival is celebrated by NRI's who live in different parts of the world. Lord Ganesha is also called Lord Vighneshwara. 'Vighna' means obstacle. It is believed that the obstacles in any path of an individual, can be removed by offering prayers to this god. People, before beginning the worship of any other god or goddess,  initiate the puja with the puja of Lord Vighneshwara that precedes the former one.
               The beauty of the Lord gets enhanced at the time of the Lord's festival that falls before the festival of the goddess of Durga. The festival of Lord Vighneshwara falls on Chavithi. As such the festival is called Vinayak Chavithi.
                Lord Vighneswara, the son of the goddess of Parvathi and the Lord Shiva, is adored with the slogan of 'Ganapathibappa Maurya' at the time of the procession of the Lord during the Vinak Chavithi. 'Om Gam Ganpatheyayaha Namaha' is the popular mantra chanted by several Indian devotees. In fact, it is the mantra of the household. It is a welcome relief that this very convention gives beauty to this Earth and to the spiritual world that is yearning for spiritual quest.
